GOD'S STOREHOUSE

 "Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me in this, says the LORD of hosts: If I will not open for you the windows of heaven, and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it"

Since being ill with Lyme Disease I have not been able to attend Church services regularly.  I did go back to church during a good spell only to find it had changed.   Making enquiries I discovered the Pastor was following Rick Warren's Purpose Driven teachings.    I went on to study his book and compare it with the bible to find many sections of scripture either misquoted or  taken out of context.   Since then I have refused to attend my church services and no longer consider myself a member.

Throughout my illness I have had to depend totally upon the LORD to feed me.  I have a number of internet resources which give good 'meaty' teaching.    I will list these here for anyone else in a similar position.    Yeshua has shown me I can do nothing without Him, and in fact there is nothing I can do to make Him love me more than He already does.   I have to remember this when I am particularly poorly and cannot serve Him as I would like to.

 Perth Christian Fellowship 

A friend gave me a few dvd's of Melvyn Milne, Pastor of Perth Christian Fellowship.   The teaching and sermons are so inspiring.   I emailed them and discovered for a £20 subscription I can get dvd's of all sermons, teaching sessions for a whole year.

Twin City Fellowship

A great online resource where you can tune in weekly to hear sermons.  Lots of other teaching resources too.

Koinonia House 

A wonderful rich bible study resource.   I love the 66/40 radio programme.

Jan Markell's Understanding the Times

A very challenging radio programme that seeks to shine the light on new heresies that are threatening the church today.

A discernment and apologetics ministry.   Eric can also be seen/heard on YouTube 

Critical Issues Commentary

Another very good apologetics radio ministry.  Has a good section re Purpose Driven movement.
